Shinedown

Problem: Shinedown was embarking on a new album release cycle and looking to partner with Media on a unique way to promote not only the music but the artists themselves in a personalized and unique way for fans. GOLF Channel was looking for tastemaking influencers to collaborate with to bring amplification to social media and linear live news talk show The Morning Drive. Donny always wanted to work with Shinedown and was able to network with their team at Indegoot Management and Atlantic Records to help produce the single.

Solution: The video highlighted their music and showcased a more personable side of the band, including lead singer Brent Smith learning how to play golf. In the end, Indegoot Management and Topgolf both wanted to re-promote the feature for a 2nd launch.

STANAJ

Problem: Donny was inspired by this rising pop star and the way he built his career. Stanaj was found by Brendon Jennings at a karaoke bar and quickly spiraled into success playing for Drake, meeting stars like Justin Timberlake, and appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Donny was looking for ways to leverage influencers to help build fresh appeal to drive golfership for The Morning Drive on GOLF Channel, and increase social media traction and engagement, so telling Stanaj’s story of how he became a self-proclaimed “GOLF Addict" proved to be an effective tactic.

Solution: Donny and his team recorded a feature for GOLFPASS to share Stanaj's unique story and his journey to become a hit artist and golfer. This leveraged user-generated content from Stanaj’s story from social media, along with music videos and elements from the artist’s collection, including a content shoot for the feature at Home Studio of Lady Gaga’s former Musical Director and Producer, Fernando Garibay.

Niall Horan

Problem: Donny was tasked by GOLF Channel to cover an exclusive press opportunity by One Direction’s Niall Horan to help promote the launch of his golf management company, Modest! Golf, an expansion of Modest!” Management, his music management company in Europe.

Solution: Our team captured content at his show, interviewing him about his interest in golf and how he started his company. Being able to show this other side of the popular musician was a great way to leverage his current fans' interest and build buzz for the new company.
